OUR TEAM

Joe Vella Insurance Brokers (JVIB) currently has a staff of 25 employees across three offices, including our head office, Vella Plaza, in Cairns and two regional offices, in Mareeba and Atherton.

Our team is comprised of 10 fully qualified brokers, nine broker assistants and four administration and office support personnel. We also employ a Finance Manager for our finance broking arm, One Group Financial Services (OGFS).

Each of our qualified brokers heads up a team that specialises in a particular field of insurance as well as handling general insurance matters.

NB:
Our fully qualified brokers are required to maintain their Qualified Practicing Insurance Brokers (QPIB) or Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) levels by undertaking an externally audited, annual professional development program.
All of JVIB’s non-senior broking staff have attained the minimum mandatory industry Tier 2 insurance qualifications and continue working towards their Tier 1 and Diploma qualifications with the full support and assistance of the company.
